Whether you're brand new or have been caving for years, there's a cave for you. We regularly organize trips throughout Northern California (and beyond) for every skill level, as well as vertical practices, skill workshops, and more!

We hold public meetings every second Thursday of the month at the Northbrae Community Church in Berkeley. Check our calendar beforehand.
Apply for (or renew) membership via this Google Form. Annual membership is $15 for individuals or $20 for families. You can also sign up for membership in the Western Region ($10) or the SFBC ($5). All Grotto members are required to be NSS members.
Membership benefits include access to the members mailing list, priority access on trips, access to digital resources, and more!
